Championship (Open), Reserve (U1700), Amateur (U1200)
US Chess regular ratings used for section & pairing purposes.
Prizes
$3,000 based upon 100 paid entries. First prize in each section guaranteed. Championship plaques for
top Oklahoman in each section.
Championship (Open): 1st $600, 2nd $400, 3rd $200, Top U2000 $150
Reserve (U1700): 1st $450, 2nd $250, 3rd $150, Top U1500 $100
Amateur (U1200): 1st $300, 2nd $200, top U1000 $100, top unrated $100.
Entry Fees

Regular entry $60 if registered by Friday, June 19.

Late entry $70 if registered by Thursday, June 25 for all players

Onsite entry $80 for all players. Space is limited at this venue. Preregistration is highly recommended. Registration onsite may be capped at 120 players.

Scholastic entry in Amateur (U1200) $50 if registered by Friday, June 19. Parents who play are responsible for their children.

Senior Entry (65+) $50 if registered by Friday, June 19.

Free entry to masters (2200+) with entry fee deducted from prizes.

$20 play-up fee for U1600 players who play in the Championship/Open.

Refunds will incur a $5 transaction fee.
The entry fee includes OCA regular or youth membership for one year.

If space is available, onsite registration will be between 8:45 and 9:15 a.m. on June 27.

Players who register after 9:15 will receive a half-point bye in round one.
June 2026 rating supplement will be used.
Equipment: Boards and pieces will be provided. Bring your own clocks.
Byes / Reentries
One half-point bye is available if requested before round two.
No Reentries.
No food in the playing hall. Water or drinks with lids will be allowed in the playing hall.
Tiebreaks: The following USCF Tiebreak Systems will be used for first place and plaques: 1. Head-to-
head, 2. Modified Median, 3. Solkoff, 4. Cumulative.
Electronic devices: OCA's electronic device policy will be enforced. Read it here.
OCA Annual Meeting: The annual membership meeting of the Oklahoma Chess Association will be
conducted at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday morning. Meeting agenda will be posted on oklahomachess.org.
