To be eligible for the main event, players must have an established (not provisional) rating and a US Chess state affiliation of either Texas or Oklahoma. Provisional (new) players, players from other states, and players who are not paired in the match are welcome to join us and participate in the Carter County Open. 
 

The main event is a two-game match. Play the same opponent twice, once as white and once as black. Game/60;+30

The Carter County Open is a four-round Swiss. Game/30;d5

Register in advance at King Registration until 5/8 at 8 p.m. Link coming soon.

**Preregistered players must be onsite no later than 10:00.** Check in with your team captain when you arrive.
