The Oklahoma Scholastic Chess Organization (OSCO) provides chess tournaments for K-12 students throughout Oklahoma. We are an all-volunteer 501 (c)(3) nonprofit. If you would like to volunteer, connect us with a potential tournament venue, or make a donation, contact us at board@oscochess.org.
Schedule
9:15 Doors open. There is no check-in; all registered players will be paired.
10:00 Round One for all sections will begin following announcements in the playing hall.

Subsequent rounds are paired back to back with a break for lunch.

Most sections have 5 rounds and players will be eligible to play in ALL rounds. This is not an elimination style event.

Awards ceremonies take place for each section after that section's final round is complete.
For late arrivals or last-minute cancellations, send a text to 918-978-1899. This helps us start on time and avoid pairing players with no-shows.
Membership
All OSCO tournaments are rated by the US Chess Federation. A membership is good for one full year.

Grades K–3 rated under 600: First-time membership (No fee)
Oklahoma residents: First-time membership, Section 2 or higher ($10)
Renew an expired membership ($15)

Out-of-state players may use the renew link and follow directions on the form.
Read before you register
When you register, you will be asked to agree to OSCO's terms & conditions. You will also be asked to affirm that you will make sure your player understands our tournament rules and code of conduct.
